"If you golf, you're my friend."

Harvey Penick wrote a book titled, "If you golf, you're my friend."  It's one of several small books of golf wisdom and instruction that Harvey wrote before his death, but that title says a lot about the game of golf.  You can go out to play a round, get paired up with someone you've never met before, and have a great time. You cheer each other's good shots... you commiserate each other's bad shots... and when you finish the round, well you may not be the best of friends, but you have created a bond.  And that's one of the great things about golf.
